In Chile's Atacama Desert there is a dump of used clothes so large that it can be seen by Sentinel 2. Even in the middle of the desert, humans have managed to bring their waste, as shown by this Al Jazeera article and the DW News video below:
The clothes in this illegal dump meet the same fate as other waste in illegal landfills: they are burned.
